Football & Cheer for the athletes of small towns in
the California Central Valley & Motherlode Foothills
The Motherlode
Valley Football League (MVFL) is a Volunteer Organization
created to serve the families of small towns in the
California Central Valley & surrounding Foothills. The
MVFL promotes youth football and cheer with the intent of
providing a
competitive and organized program for student athletes from
kindergarten through 8th grade. Our league strives to give
these youth
the opportunity to play football and cheer in a controlled
environment with an emphasis on safety, sportsmanship and
teamwork.
The MVFL Football
program is open to athletes from kindergarten through 8th
grade.
Football players will be placed on teams based on grade
level.
Please be aware that sometimes friends will not be placed
on a team together.
It is mandatory for all members of the MVFL to adhere to
the established Boundary/Grade Rules.

The MVFL Cheer
program is open to athletes from kindergarten through 8th
grade.
Participants are placed into spirit squads, assigned to
a football team and will cheer at their football games.
Cheerleaders will be placed on squads based on their grade
level. Please be aware that sometimes friends will not be
placed
on a team together. It is mandatory for all members of the
MVFL to adhere to the established Boundary/Grade Rules.
Cheerleaders
will cheer at all regular season games and at playoffs should
any team advance.
Cheerleaders will also perform at MVFL Cheer Competition.
